Car Parking near Dublin Airport

Car Parking in Dublin City North

Parking in Northside Dublin is generally less expensive and easier to find than it is in the city centre. This is especially true for private car parks, both short- and long-term, which are numerous in the vicinity of the airport. When choosing car rental in Dublin City North, it's a good idea to check with your hotel about their parking facilities: many offer free parking, but some will charge extra.

On-street parking in a city as crowded as Dublin can be a hassle for motorists. The many rules governing where to park and when are rigidly enforced, and violators may find themselves clamped or towed (and at the very least ticketed). Wherever it's legal to park, drivers will need to pay by the hour at one of the nearby meters, which accept 50-cent and €1 coins and dispense tickets for display on the dashboard of your hire car. It's possible to top up over the phone, but this requires customers to be pre-registered at the Parking Tag website.

There are at least a score of private parking garages throughout the city, and most of these are in the centre.

Some of Dublin's largest shopping centres, Blanchardstown and Liffey Valley are a short drive from our car rental office and offer free parking to all visitors. Both are accessible from the M50 motorway.
