Cork Airport Returns
After enjoying a visit to southern Ireland with the mobility afforded by car hire in Cork Airport, the last thing you'll want to endure is an unnecessary delay at the airport. Luckily, Europcar's return procedures couldn't be easier. It's a good idea to set aside 30 minutes for the return, but odds are good that you'll only need a few minutes.
Cork city centre lies 8 kilometres north of the terminal. To drive to the terminal, simply head south on the N27, which is known as Albert Street and South City Link Road in specific stages along the way. You'll cross the N28, at which point the street you're driving on becomes Airport Road. From here, it's around one more kilometre to the airport turn off (Avenue 4000). The entire drive takes roughly 15 minutes - a bit longer during periods of heavy traffic.
The return depot is in the same location where vehicles are picked up in the multi-storey car park adjacent to the Arrivals Hall. Simply park the car and consult with the attendant on duty. From here, it's a short walk to the main terminal. Drop the keys with the Europcar associate and you'll be on your way.
If your flight is scheduled at an odd hour and there is no one manning the Europcar desk, procedures are still the same. Simply leave your car in the car park where you first collected it, leave the keys in a drop box at the Europcar desk in the main terminal and proceed to check-in.
If you are returning to the Cork City Car Rental locaiton, please proceed to the Lee Garage, 11-13 South Terrace, Cork City.
