Cork Shops and Restaurants
Cork Airport has several shops and restaurants in the mix, leaving passengers with plenty to do before and after their flights. Eateries and retailers are available in arrivals and departures areas on both sides of security.
On the ground floor, there is a Starbucks next to the corner where the car rental Cork Airport desks are located. This is a convenient place to stop for arriving passengers who've just collected their bags gone through customs. This is place where you can get anything to eat or drink in the main hall.
A couple of shops are also located here in the main hall. The Londis convenience store next to the information desk sells reading material, confectionery, gifts and travel accessories. There's also a Hughes and Hughes bookstores across the aisle in the Departures Hall.
Departing passengers on the first floor have better selection of restaurants. Cork's Food Market is a tribute to the English Market in Cork City proper, and it serves everything from fresh-baked breads to smoked salmon. Around the corner is the Red Bar, a Victorian-themed pub with a full menu. The Sports Bar is across from gates 7 and 8, with Lir Café on the outside wall between gates 4 and 5.
Cork Airport's main shopping concourse is called The Loop, and it's located on the first floor in the departures area. This is a one-stop airport shop with duty-free items and designer fashion. There's also an Easons Booksellers opposite gate 5 and next to Sports Bar.
