Dublin Airport is home to a number of fantastic shops and restaurants to keep you entertained while you wait for your flight. Before entering security visitors will find a pharmacy, book store and a small snack stand. There are a few restaurants and bars found upstairs before passing through security.
The shopping experience in Dublin Airport truly begins upon passing through security and entering The Loop. The Loop boasts more than 25 shops ranging from designer fashions and jewellery to chocolates and wine. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking to pick up a gift for those at home you’re sure to find the perfect purchase in The Loop. A list of the shops in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Shopping in the airport is a great way to kill some time especially if returning your Dublin Airport car rental took less time than you expected.
Once you’ve gone through security you’ll find a whole host of restaurants and bars to suit your every need. Both local and international flavours are on offer from fast food to fine dining. You’ll find a variety of bars paired with food services, most notably the Garden Terrace found in Terminal 1 which offers award winning food by Chef Simon Mooney. Local cuisines can be found in the Brasserie, where classics such as Dublin Bay seafood chowder and Ballybroden lamb stew headline the menu.
The majority of shops in the loop are open from 05:00 to 21:00 while restaurant times vary, food can be found on offer from 03:30 until the last flight but there are a small number of places that run for 24 hours.
