Can I modify / extend my booking?
Whether you want to amend an upcoming reservation or keep your car longer during your rental, please follow the guidelines below:
- Booked Directly on Europcar.ie:
You can modify your booking online free of charge up to 48 hours before your rental starts by logging into your account or visiting the Manage My Booking section on europcar.ie. Alternatively you can call our Contact Centre. - Booked Through a Third Party:
If your reservation was made via an online travel agency or broker (e.g., Booking.com, Rentalcars.com, Expedia, Auto Europe), please contact them directly to amend your booking.
- Cannot Be Extended Online:
Once you have collected the vehicle, your rental agreement is open and cannot be extended online or via the website/app. - How to Request an Extension:
To keep your vehicle longer, you must contact Europcar Ireland before your scheduled return date and time to ensure the vehicle remains available and your insurance cover stays valid: - Call Europcar Ireland: Contact the Reservations / Assistance team on +353 1 8122880 (Monday to Sunday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Option 4).
- Visit a Station: Speak directly with an agent at any Europcar Ireland branch.
- What You Will Need:
Have your Rental Agreement number or Reservation number ready. Our team will verify vehicle availability, calculate the additional days at the applicable daily rate, and take card payment for the extension cost.
