From wild city life, to ancient, sleepy villages; from majestic mountain roads to the sunniest of sun-drenched beaches, Spain offers more than most countries when it comes to the ultimate vacation. The history and culture, the music and the cuisine, the people and their lust for life allow Spain to offer any number of world famous locations to visit: The green peaks and valleys that make up northern Spain, and include the towns of San Sebastian and Santander; the great unexplored regions of central Spain where dusty highways and forgotten villages link cities like Madrid, Seville and Toledo; the ancient western parts of Spain that eventually meet Portugal, hiding the legendary city of Salamanca; and the beautiful coastal parts of Spain that stretch from the French border to Gibraltar, and are home to the cities of Barcelona and Valencia.

The City of Madrid – Spain's capital city sits in the very centre of the country. A hub for many of Europe's art lovers, as the city includes the Prado museum, the Reina Sofia and the Thyssen-Bornemisza. To Be found in the charming city centre are the Palacio Real, the gardens of El Retiro and the amazing Plaza Mayor. Madrid is also known for its nightlife, where the many, many bars, clubs and restaurants stay open until dawn.

The Town of Granada – Home to the stunning Alhambra Palace, arguably the most amazing example of Moorish architecture to be found in Europe. Just south of the town is the snow-capped, 3400 metre high Sierra Nevada mountain range, largely occupied by hill goats and committed walkers, but popular with skiers in the winter. The village of Fuente Vaqueros, nearby, was the birthplace of the poet Frederico Garcia Lorca and keeps a museum dedicated to his life and works.

The Costas – It's all here in the Costas; sun, sea, sand and sangria. With miles upon miles of golden beaches, warm blue seas, rocky coves, quaint harbours and lively seaside towns, the Costas sum up for many the ideal Spanish holiday. The Costa Brava runs from the French border to Barcelona, while the Costa Dorada extends south of the city down to Valencia. From there, the Costa Blanca reaches down to include Benidorm and Alicante, until the Costa Del Sol continues to Gibraltar, passing Almeria and Málaga.
