Kerry Airport Facilities
Kerry Airport has all the amenities a traveller might expect from a regional airport of its size. A recent €17 million capital grant from the Republic of Ireland may in the future result in some additional developments.
For directions or additional assistance, check with the Information Desk in the main concourse. The Information Desk is equipped to handle questions about local transportation and accommodation as well as general tourist enquiries.
Passengers seeking car rental in Kerry Airport will find Europcar's desk in the main terminal; it's a shared station with sister company Irish Car Rentals.
The airport provides car parks for both short- and long-term stays, and both are within easy walking distance of the terminal. Parking for quick passenger drop-off or pick-up comes cheaply: the first 30 minutes is free of charge in the short-term car park, and in the long-term car park the first hour is free. There are ten spaces available for disabled passengers in the short-term parking area (first hour free), and these are clearly marked and well maintained.
Foreign travellers wishing to exchange cash can look for the Bureau de Change, situated at the Information Desk. Kerry Airport also offers wireless broadband access for travellers with notebook computers or smart phones. Inquire at the Information Desk for details on accessing this service.
Public phones, both card- and coin-operated, are located throughout the terminal. The airport is also equipped with a full line of commercial services, so you'll the chance to grab a drink at the pub or go shopping if you show up earlier than intended.
