New Year's festival

The NYF (New Year’s Festival) Dublin won the “Best Live Event” award at Ireland’s 2015 Event Industry Awards. Recently voted one of the best winter trips in 2016 by National Geographic.

This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better. The arts, culture, and live entertainment festival includes dazzling streetscapes illuminated by 3-D light projections and an outdoor New Year’s Eve Countdown Concert.

Most events are free and family friendly and take place downtown in the designated NYF Hub.
