Cork is around a 4 hours' drive (264 kilometres); Limerick, 3 hours (210 kilometres); and even far-flung Letterkenny in the north is only 3 hours, 30 minutes away (230 kilometres). The major arteries surrounding Dublin include the M1 leaving to the north, the M11 heading south, the east-west M4, and M50 ring road forming a giant C to the west of the city. Dublin Harbour provides the capital city's eastern boundary.

To reach the Dublin City North car rental depot from Dublin Airport using public transportation, check with the Dublin Bus desk at the Main Arrivals Hall. The most updated information on bus routes can be viewed here. Hiring a cab from the city centre should cost less than €20, and several Dublin Bus routes provide service to the airport.
Please note that hire cars cannot be returned to this particular depot outside of the aforementioned operating hours. To return cheap car rental in Dublin City North after hours, you should do so at Europcar's nearby Dublin Airport location, which is open in the main Arrivals Hall from 06:00 to 23:00, seven days a week.
